Your first Sunday
Visiting a new church can feel like a lot. Here is what to expect so you can simply walk in and be welcomed.
You will not be singled out. No standing, no badges, no pressure. Say hello if you like.
Before you come: One Sunday each month is Serve Sunday. On that day we do not meet at Potomac Senior High School and there is no worship service. It is usually the last Sunday of the month, but it can change, so please check the schedule.
You will be welcomed as family.
Where do I park and enter?
Follow the directional signs to student parking, then follow the signs to the church entrance at Potomac Senior High School.
Is there a service every Sunday?
Almost. One Sunday a month is Serve Sunday, when we serve the community instead of meeting for worship. It is usually the last Sunday, but check the schedule first.
What is the service like?
Praise and worship, a Bible-focused sermon, a time of reflection, and prayer.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. You will see everything from jeans to business casual.
Are kids welcome?
Yes. Children are encouraged to join the main service with you. A children's ministry is planned as we grow.

At a drive-through, a Lamp Church member pays for the meal of the car behind them.

One Sunday every month, we go out into the community and serve together as a congregation, being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. On Serve Sunday we do not meet at our normal location and there is no regular worship service. It is usually the last Sunday of the month, but it can change from month to month, so please check the schedule.
